Her background includes over 22 years in public education, having worked as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, a high school counselor, and as a middle school reading teacher. At the heart of her work is a passion for helping others.
Erika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from the University of South Florida, a Master’s degrees in School Counseling and a Master's degree in Special Education with a specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Texas Tech University.
